Dustlok® Cube Filters by Fiberbond®

Dustlok ® Media

 

All Fiberbond cube filters utilize Fiberbond Dual-Ply Dustlok media. The dual-density design of Dustlok media offers true depth loading & longer life. Large particulates are trapped in the white air entering section, while the orange dense area effectively stops finer particles. The Dustlok adhesive, is an integral part of the media formulation, assuring retention of the trapped dirt. This unique dust attractant is non-drying and non-migratory. There is no drop-off in performance throughout the life of the filter.

Spor-Ax® Antimicrobial

 

Spor-Ax is a proven, highly effective biocide. It effectively controls growth of mold, mildew,algae, and fungi on filters. Fiberbond filters with Spor-Ax do not support microbial growth. Spor-ax is mechanically bonded in the binder during manufacture of the filter media at Fiberbond. Spor-Ax will not gas, migrate or leach into the air stream.

Tests using accepted ASTM C-665 and D-2020 standards show the absence of microbial growth on filters, both as new filters before their use and again when they are taken out of service before their disposal.

Dual-Ply Dustlok, used to fabricate all Fiberbond cubes, is a true high performance media. Independent laboratory testing using ASHRAE Standard 52.2 (Method of Testing General Ventilation Air Cleaning Devices for Removal Efficiency by Particle Size) Classified one inch Dual-Ply Dustlok as MERV 8 (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value). The actual test performance curves show how removal efficiencies and resistance increase as the media is loaded.

DUSTLOK CUBE

The Fiberbond DUSTLOK CUBE is a tapered star shaped design which provides 100% media utilization of a fifteen inch deep cube. The self-sealing feature offers quick, easy installation and change out. The pressure fit of the internal wire ring locks the cube in place, preventing dirt by-pass.

For side access or applications using hold down clips, the DUSTLOK Cube 'H' with galvanized header frame is available.

DUSTLOK 440 CUBE

The Fiberbond DUSTLOK 440 CUBE design provides two large tapered pockets fifteen inches in depth. An internal wire support grid provides a self-sealing fit, securely locking the cube in place. This assures airborne contaminant's enter through the open face and become trapped with-in the extended media surface area provided.

DUSTLOK 660 CUBE

The Fiberbond DUSTLOK 660 CUBE design provides three large tapered pockets fifteen inches in depth. It offers increased media area for increased dust holding in applications with high dirt concentration. The save self-sealling concept locks the DUSTLOK 660 in place, eliminating the concern of dirt by-pass.

DUSTLOK 30-HC

The Fiberbond DUSTLOK 30-HC is a multi-pocket filter twelve inches in depth. Individual pocket edges and internal dividing bars are welded by means of dielectric heat sealing so there are no stitch holes. Pockets are assembled using individual modular design with a wrap-around channel. The exceptionally high dust holding provides long life.
